Jessica Alba's lotion is boldly going where no hand cream has gone before: to the moon! (OK, that may be an exaggeration, but stay with us here.) As seen on the actor and Honest Company beauty founder's Instagram, the Artemis II astronauts were hoping to keep their hands moisturized with lotion from the brand during their 10-day journey around the moon.

Alba shared a sweet moment of herself reacting to astronaut Christina Hammock Koch asking for a “specific community hygiene item” for the crew: Honest hand lotion. “I thought we had some on board but we just haven't come across it yet,” Koch says in the audio snippet. “Thanks for tracking it down.”

Alba is understandably shocked and thrilled to hear that the astronauts are fans of her product and that something she helped create may be traveling to the moon and back. “That is wild,” she says. “To think I had this idea of wanting people to have safer, better products … And now it’s in space!” She goes on to call the moment something “I never thought would be my real life." Alba then ends the video by encouraging viewers with “any dreams of anything” to "just go after it, because you never know… your products can be in space."

Koch didn't share the exact name of the lotion she was hoping to receive, and the brand doesn't actually make a full-fledged hand lotion, but we think it could be either the Face + Body Lotion, which comes in fragrance free, vanilla, citrus, lavender, sweet almond, and sweet cream scents; or potentially the Head-to-Toe Healing Ointment, which would be thick and nourishing for skin while you're orbiting and exploring the moon. Alba did promise to send Koch “all the Honest lotion when you're back on Earth,” so we'll have to keep an eye on her Instagram when the group makes its way home and see which product earned the Artemis II seal of approval.
